Overview
A patient check-in platform that lets patients check in online from their phone, before or on arrival, cutting front-desk admin and wait times for clinics.
The problem
Paper and front-desk check-in slows clinics down and frustrates patients, and every intake has to be re-keyed into the clinic's EMR.
What I built
- Mobile-first online check-in patients can complete before or on arrival
- Integration with 80+ EMRs, including Epic and Cerner, so intake data flows straight into clinical systems
- Location features with the Google Maps API and transactional email with Nodemailer
- JWT-secured Express and MongoDB API with document storage on Azure Blob
- Production hosting on Azure App Service behind Nginx and a load balancer
